Otto Scooter rents electric mopeds in London at £59–£85 per week on the Short Rental plan: the Askoll eSPro 70 is £59 for delivery riders on a 4-week minimum (£1 first week on a 12-week contract) or £69 for riders not yet on a delivery platform, the VMoto CPx £85, with a £200 refundable deposit. The Rent-to-Buy plan costs £99 per week for 31 weeks, after which the bike becomes the rider’s property.

How much does it cost to rent a delivery moped?
The Askoll eSPro 70 is £59/week for delivery riders on a 4-week minimum, or £1 for the first week on a 12-week contract (£69 if you’re not on a delivery platform yet) — that price already includes hire-and-reward insurance, unlimited mileage, maintenance, and GPS tracking, plus a £200 refundable deposit. Longer plans and rent-to-buy unlock different weekly rates.
Do I need a CBT licence?
For our electric mopeds, yes — you need a valid UK provisional or full driving licence plus a CBT certificate. For our e-bikes (ETT Trayser 2.0 and Cycl Carr-E), no licence is required.
Is insurance included?
Yes, as standard on every moped rental — third-party-only hire-and-reward insurance valid across Uber Eats, Deliveroo, Just Eat, Stuart, Relay and private work, from the moment you collect. E-bikes are EAPCs and legally require no insurance.
What happens if the bike breaks down?
Call or WhatsApp us. In most cases we'll swap the bike for a replacement at our Hammersmith workshop the same day, so you stay earning. Standard service is free.
How quickly can I start riding?
The earliest pickup is the day after reserving: pick your slot online, upload your CBT and licence, then sign and pay the deposit by 18:00 the day before. Pickup happens in-person at our W6 0UB workshop.
Can I buy the bike at the end of the rental?
Yes. Rent-to-buy converts your weekly payments into ownership over 31 weeks. On short rental, you can also move to pre-owned purchase at any time — we'll price it fairly against its condition.
