Sharpest single offer in the segment
Genuinely best for: riders who want one simple deal — a VMoto CPX at £75/week, no deposit, three pickup points (Bermondsey, Willesden, Tottenham) and VMoto battery-swap stations on site. If you live in south-east or north London and ride long shifts, they're the closest thing to a default choice.
Check before signing: damage and theft liability is capped at £1,500; the phrase “hire and reward” doesn't appear on their pages (they describe a fleet policy covering platform delivery); there's no e-bike or no-CBT route, no rent-to-buy — and we couldn't find a single published review anywhere.
Zoomo · the platform player
Biggest footprint, most add-ons
Genuinely best for: e-bike riders who want platform perks — Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Just Eat rewards — or anyone delivering outside London: they also run Manchester, Edinburgh and Birmingham. E-bikes run £35–£55/week.
Check before signing: the £75/week moped needs an 8-week commitment and a £25 starter fee may apply; £0 deposit only comes with the £20/week cover add-on (≈£95/week all-in); the plan pages say “3rd Party Insurance”; their global Trustpilot rating is 2.9/5 from 395 reviews.
Go Green Motorcycles · the dealer that rents
Concrete bundles, dealer workshop
Genuinely best for: south-east London riders who want dealer-grade servicing — their rental cards spell out exactly what's bundled (two batteries on the CPX, fast charger, box, six-weekly service) and their Google rating is the best in the segment at 4.9/5, albeit from 53 reviews. Their 26-week purchase lease from £32/week is a real ownership path.
Check before signing: £150 cash deposit; “Delivery Insurance Included” without naming the class; one pickup point in Camberwell; and ask which vehicle the purchase lease actually covers — their pages don't say.
Today (ridetoday.io) · the price floor
Cheapest sticker in London
Genuinely best for: price-first riders in east London. The VMoto VS2 is listed from £45/week — the lowest figure any provider publishes — and their Leyton battery-swap site runs late into the evening, so no home charging needed.
Check before signing: their own site shows two different starting prices (£45 on the vehicle page, £59.99 on the London page); insurance is described as “third-party liability”; deposit, eligibility and contract terms aren't published; and we found no reviews. Get everything in writing first.

Genuinely best for: riders who want to be provably legal on every platform — certified hire-and-reward on Uber Eats, Deliveroo, Just Eat, Stuart and Relay — with a £200 refundable deposit and no credit check, a free same-day replacement bike on breakdown, rent-to-buy after 31 weeks, and the only sub-£60 no-CBT e-bike route in this table. Where we're weaker: one pickup point — Hammersmith W6 — against Zenion's three; and battery swap is free but only at our workshop at 66 Paddenswick Road, not a station network. Our answer is twin swappable batteries that charge from any 3-pin socket at home, which is how most of our riders cover long shifts. If you live far from west London and won't charge at home, Zenion or Today may simply be more convenient.
