How can I rent an electric moped to work for Uber Eats in London?
Uber Eats (UberEats) riders in London can rent an electric moped or ebike from Otto Scooter on a weekly contract. The delivery-platform rider price on the Askoll eSPro 70 is £59 per week on a 4-week minimum, or £1 for the first week on a 12-week contract; the VMoto Super Soco CPx is £85 per week. The rental includes hire-and-reward insurance specifically certified for food delivery, GPS tracking, free servicing, and breakdown replacement. There is a £200 refundable deposit and no credit check.
The application process is: pick a pickup slot online, upload your CBT certificate and ID, sign the agreement once the team has checked your documents, pay the deposit by 18:00 the day before, then pick up the bike at Otto’s Hammersmith workshop. Reserve today and the earliest pickup is tomorrow. Riders who prefer not to take a CBT can choose the ETT Trayser 2.0 e-bike, which needs no licence: it is £49 a week for Uber Eats riders, against £55 standard, with the same £200 refundable deposit.

Do I need a CBT to deliver for Uber Eats with Otto?
For an electric moped, yes — a valid CBT plus a provisional/full licence. If you’d rather skip the CBT, the ETT Trayser 2.0 e-bike needs no licence at all and is fully Uber-Eats-ready.
Is the insurance valid for Uber Eats delivery?
Yes. Every Otto moped rental includes hire-and-reward insurance certified for food delivery on Uber Eats (and Deliveroo, Just Eat, Stuart and Relay). You’re covered from the moment you collect the bike.
Do I get a delivery bag or box?
We fit a top-box rated for a 16-inch pizza pouch on every moped. If Uber Eats requires their own branded bag, you arrange that through the Uber Eats app as usual.
