Delivery e-bike rental in London from Otto Scooter costs £55 a week for the ETT Trayser 2.0, or £49 a week for riders on Uber Eats and Deliveroo, with a £200 refundable deposit and no credit check. The bike is collected from the Otto workshop at 66 Paddenswick Road, Hammersmith W6, where its 1,056 Wh removable battery pack can be swapped for a charged one free of charge. GPS tracking, servicing and same-day breakdown replacement are included in the weekly price.
A second option, the Italian-made Cycl Carr-E, rents for £39 a week with a £150 refundable deposit. Both are EAPCs (electrically assisted pedal cycles), so no driving licence, no CBT and no insurance are legally required, and they can use cycle lanes and bus lanes from day one. Where the others win. The cheapest published week is CIRGO at £25 on a 12-week lock-in, then Zoomo at £39 on its 8-week Boost plan. PORT takes no deposit, swaps the whole bike at any of its 19 hubs and undercuts every other first week at £29.95; CIRGO takes a £75 deposit. Zoomo runs two London hubs and sells a £10-a-week theft and damage cover that, as an EAPC bicycle, the Trayser cannot match. If your shifts are short, a 628 Wh pack is capacity you may not need.
Where the Trayser wins. The single largest battery pack published by any of these operators — 1,056 Wh, against the 628 Wh Zoomo publishes for the Zero and figures the others do not publish at all — and a free charged-pack swap at the workshop — of the others, only PORT publishes an included swap, and it is of the whole bike, not the pack. The price is one number with no starter fee, and the £49 rate for Uber Eats and Deliveroo riders is £6 below the Zoomo 1 and BR E-Bikes week and 95p below PORT’s ongoing week.
